Joaquim Nascimento

Joaquim is the President of Algarve Evolution, leading innovation in the South of Portugal. Professionally he has a rich background in developing growth strategies for global corporations. He has over 20 years of experience in the healthcare industry, where he developed launch and growth plans for some of the leading pharmaceutical brands in the US, Japan, Europe and Emerging Markets. At the start of his career, Joaquim was at AstraZeneca with several project management roles in Finance, Marketing and Supply Chain in several European countries. He holds an MBA from Manchester University, a Bachelor in Economics and ‘AI in Healthcare’ certification from Stanford University.
