Tim Vieira

Tim Vieira was born July 18 of 1975, in Johannesburg, South Africa.

He joined the Management/Administration of Business course at UNISA, dropping out to start his own business in 1993. Tim established one of the first independent micro-breweries in South Africa. Later, he also joined the Executive Program at Chicago BOOTH School in London.

Tim Vieira´s interest in business has always been diverse. He moved to Angola with his wife in 2001, and initially focused on Media opportunities. In conjunction with his partners Nuno Traguedo and Odair Peres, Tim Vieira founded Special Edition Holding, one of the largest Media groups in Angola; employing more than 400 people. He also owns Outdoor billboard Advertising Businesses, and some of the most important Outdoor Billboard Operators, Events rentals, Brand Activations, Digital Printing and Media Planning Companies. He also has interests in companies that operate in Mozambique and Ghana.

Tim Vieira became known to the Portuguese public in 2015, after his participation in the first season of Shark Tank Portugal. Today Tim Vieira is the CEO of Bravegeneration (Europa), which invests in other areas such as Agriculture, Services, IT, Human Resources, Cinema Film Production, Real Estate Development, Energy Distribution, Tourism, Education Solutions and, currently, the establishment of an investment fund for opportunities in Portugal.

Tim Vieira was previously elected president of CCILSA (Portuguese-South African Industry and Commerce Chamber) and is a distinguished member of the Advisory Board at Nova School of Business & Economics. He is the Founder and President of Be Brave, an Entrepreneurship booster association, and Founder of Escolhe Portugal.

Tim Vieira has recently finished his LefE3x course. In 2019, he went on a 118-day trip around the globe with his family. A true lover of sports, he is an Honorary legend of South African Rugby.

Tim Vieira was also a board member of the Portuguese Cricket Federation.
