Beatriz Cortez

I was born in Lisbon in 1974 and come from a family of military background. I’m an architect by training and worked in the field for 13 years. In 2009, I opened my first surf-related business, and a few years later created BeSurf — the only surf school in Portugal led by a woman

and certified by the Portuguese Surfing Federation. BeSurf blends sport, inclusion, innovation, and sustainability.
